Pastoral Staff
Pastor Brett was voted in as Lead Pastor in March of 2022. Prior to this, he served as Associate Pastor at Lawson AG for 6 years. Brett previously served as a youth pastor in NE Nebraska before coming back home to Lawson in 2016.
Brett graduated from Evangel University in 2009 and continued his degree by receiving his Masters of Divinity from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 2012. His greatest passion for the church is to teach the Bible and build Biblical literacy for everyone.
Brett married his wife, Shelly, in 2018 and they have recently entered the fun stages of toddlerhood with their sweet son, Whitley. They love spending time together, especially if that involves walking 9 holes of golf or eating Mexican food.
Brett is a passionate Royals, Chiefs and Jayhawks fan. Therefore he knows the pain of loving a team that will let you down.
Pastor Josh has been the Worship and Youth Pastor at Lawson AG since 2016. Prior to this, he served as the Worship and Youth Pastor in Topeka, Kansas for 11 years.
Josh is working on his Masters of Divinity from Western Seminary. His greatest passion for the church is that our people know God’s Word and love God’s Word.
Josh and his high school sweetheart, Denise, have been married since 1999 and have 6 awesome kids! Perhaps from having 6 kids, Josh has a deep love of coffee. He also loves cheering on the OU Sooners and US Mens Soccer. Boomer Sooner!

Pastor Traci has been at Lawson AG the longest: 10 years! Prior to taking on the Kid’s Pastor role, Traci’s full time ministry was raising her two wonderful daughters.
Traci was ordained in the Assemblies of God in April of 2021. Her greatest passion for the church is that kids and families see the joy of following Jesus- together! She wants everyone to be able to know and understand the Bible and do that together as a family.
Glitter and all things sparkle are some of Traci’s favorite things. She also adores her husband, Danny, of almost 18 years and loves spending time together with her family and loves living life together.
Denise has been working as a secretary at Lawson AG since May of 2019. Prior to this, her full-time job was raising her and Pastor Josh’s 6 great kids. She loves people and does an awesome job sharing the love of Jesus with everyone that walks through our doors. Call our office and chat with her today!
