ROYAL RANGER “GOLD MEDAL OF ACHIEVEMENT” On Saturday, April 17, Zac Emry, Jacob Bellis and Jordan Guilkey were recognized for achieving the highest award in Royal Rangers, which is the Gold Medal of Achievement (GMA). The special ceremony was held in the sanctuary, followed by a reception. Additional information on this award is as follows: - The GMA, the single highest award offered by the Royal Ranger Ministry, is a medal of great distinction and honor.
- Jacob, Zac and Jordan have all earned numerous merits (48 of which are Bible merits), attended many training camps, served in various leadership positions, written essays, and spent many hours of service to their church and community.
- All three are also members of FCF.
This award has gained national recognition and the recipients are given such honors as guaranteed admission to any military academy in the nation as well as certificate of achievement from the National Royal Ranger commander, Governor, and the President of the United States. Junior Leadership Training Academy Congratulations to Jordan Guilkey, Jacob Bellis, Zac Emry, and Chris Cechvala for their recent attendance and graduation from the Junior Leadership Training Academy. They started with JTC, JFC, JTT, and this year ended with JMC. These camps are established to help young men learn how to become Junior Leaders. They receive training in such things as first aid, compass, lashing, setting up campsites and skills that will carry them into their future life as men. It is not an easy process to go through. These are the first young men in our church to receive this award. These young men are not just great leaders but also great servants of God. They have the ability to become the next leaders of the church. They all have shown dedication and hard work to receive this high level of recognition. And of course, we are thankful to their commanders for their constant encouragement to be the best that they can be. | |
